To steal the limelight during Navratri Festival, members of Azad Friend Circle decide to worship a Hindu goddess at the hands of nine women having their periods during Navratri festival, which is supposed to be against the Hindu religion. Science graduate ‘BACTERIA‘, Budding writer NILESH, Door to door salesman ‘Dodo’ and ‘SHITAL’ from an orthodox family start taking efforts to make their Navratri festival a big hit. They start asking women and girls the date of their periods and realize the superstitions, irrational attitudes, myths connected with women's menstrual cycle. This journey gives different realizations to all of them. Some orthodox people start opposing their mission. Yet, somehow they convince a few ladies to worship the Goddess. Fundamentalist attacks them to discourage them from their decision. Because of the pressure from society, some ladies deny to perform the ritual. Few women see this activity as an important step in women's liberalization in India.
